Ticket sales are flying out the door for The Co-operative World Netball Series taking place at the M.E.N Arena later this year. England Netball fans have already filled out the ‘England Enclosure’ a designated seating area for fans supporting the England netball team. The race is now on for spectators from the six countries to secure a place in the designated seating areas including the Kiwi Corner, Jamaican Jamboree, Aussie Posse, Malawi Mezzanine and Samoa Sector. Event organiser Nicola Moloney said: “It’s great that we’ve sold our first block so early and that English netball fans are so eager to support their home team. “We have designated a second block this week to accommodate fans and we anticipate selling out quicker than last time. The race is now on to see which zone comes second and it’s a close call between the Kiwi Corner and Jamaican Jamboree.” England, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Malawi and Samoa will compete in the three day international competition with innovative rule changes including shorter quarters, shooting from outside the circle and power play between the 9-11th October in what promises to be a fast and ferocious event. The Co-operative World Netball Series is supported by the International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA), the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), Manchester City Council, England Netball and UK Sport.
