Fans from the England Enclosure prepare for their home team to open the show for the World Netball Series at Manchester’s MEN arena later this year.
Amongst the world’s six top netball nations, England will launch the top class netball event with a game against Samoa on Friday 9th October.
The England team will play a total of five games over the first two days of the three day event with Play-Offs and the Grand Final taking place on Sunday 11th October.
With a number of innovative rule changes spectators will experience some of the world’s greatest netball under one roof. Each match promises to be fast and ferocious, raising the profile of netball. With a new name of ‘Fast Net’ the sport is being compared to the world famous twenty20 cricket as it reaches out to a new audience of spectators.
Fans are being urged to buy tickets early to secure their places in the designated seating areas. With the England Enclosure, Aussie Posse, Kiwi Corner, Jamaica Jamboree, Malawi Mezzanine and the Samoa Sector available to choose from.
Event organiser Nicola Moloney, said: “The World Netball Series promises three days packed with action, excitement and drama. We envisage that everybody who experiences a match at the M.E.N Arena will be truly entertained and will love this new international competition. “So now is the time to support your home team by purchasing tickets to watch them in action.”
